The 2017 Charity Organizations 

That’s right Project Kneaded Dough is back for 2017! 25 cents of each loaf sold in our 4 cafés will be donated to that month’s charity. Here is some more information about these organizations.

Skookum Kids (February)

create a volunteer-staffed facility to care for children entering or transitioning into foster care. With the children safe in our care during their first week of foster care, we buy critical time for caseworkers to find the right long-term placement. Our hope is the no child from our community would ever be placed in haste.

 

Sean Humphrey House (March)

Sean Humphrey House is one of only two Adult Family Homes licensed by the State of Washington to provide a residence, meals, medical management services, counseling, recreational activities, and other support to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

 

Brigid Collins House (April)

Brigid Collins Family Support Center is a commitment-based organization causing the end of child abuse. When one child is hurt, it means the child, their family, and our community need healing.

 

FACES Northwest (July)

FACES Northwest is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation founded and operated by parents of children with autism in Whatcom County.

 

Whatcom Center for Early Learning (May)

We provide comprehensive, family-centered early intervention services to children with developmental delays or disabilities,
from birth to age three years.

 

Boys and Girls Club of Whatcom County (June)

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

 

Whatcom Hospice Foundation (August)

Whatcom Hospice Foundation is an independent charitable organization comprised of dedicated volunteers and knowledgeable staff who raise funds and build community awareness in support of Hospice services in Whatcom County. The Foundation owns and maintains the Whatcom Hospice Campus, including Whatcom County’s only residential hospice facility, Hospice House.

 

Woman Care Shelter (September)
