Avenue Bread proudly offers our premium bread for resale at the grocery level every day. We can work with your department manager and sales teams to pick products that will move well in your format, and our local daily delivery program ensures your customers are always receiving the fresh product. Avenue Bread offers attractive packaging and a strong brand, encouraging customer loyalty. Well established grocery stores carry our great bread like both Bellingham Fred Meyers, Haggen, The Co-Ops, The Safeway on Sunset and Whole Foods.

No loaf left behind. Unsold bread is donated to the local Food Banks.

We offer a variety of bread shapes and doughs. The products listed here are recommended for the Grocery market.

Artisan Line

Artisan loaves are football shaped and unsliced. These breads are baked fresh daily and bagged in our designed paper bags. Loaves can be individually wrapped in plastic for an extra 2 days on the shelf.

French Bread (artisan loaf)

Rosemary – The flavor of fresh rosemary with a superb crust

Avenue French – A great all-around bread with a consistent crumb and chewy texture

Downtown Sourdough – With an almost 20-year-old starter this bread brings complexity and wonderful sourdough tang

Rustic Wheat – A nice light wheat bread with a kiss of whole wheat

Italian Peasant – A classic artisan bread, with a touch of malt for a tangy crumb

French Baguette – Just like you would find in France, this 24-inch bread is truly traditional

Sliced Line

We make two sizes of Sliced Bread baked daily and available at multiple grocery locations. Pan Loaves are great for toast and appetizers. Deli loaves are around 2 pounds and great for sandwiches.

Multigrain (pan loaf)

Pan Loaves:

Multigrain – This heart-healthy bread is fabulous because of its whole-grain, organic and locally-milled ingredients.

Golden Raisin – The perfect sweetness of the golden raisins makes this the greatest toasted bread ever!


Deli Loaves:

Rosemary– Rosemary is our signature loaf of bread, known not just for the delicious organic rosemary  inside, but also for the deliciously salty crust.

Sourdough – Tangy in the tradition of a good sourdough, this bread is a perfect combination of sensations-chewy on the outside, soft and sour inside.

French Deli – A soft traditional white bread for every meal.

New York Rye – Made with Fairhaven Mill’s organic rye flour, ideal for sandwiches and great toasted and filled with caraway seeds

Oats in Wheat – A soft and delicious bread enhanced with whole wheat and oats, sweetened with a touch of honey.

Wheat and Seed – A hearty loaf with seeds through-out, and made with grains grown sustainably in Washington.


English Muffins, Roll and Buns include:

English Muffins – This Avenue Bread favorite holds together our popular Eggenues, Rosemary English Muffins – with added fresh rosemary

Buns For Burgers and Dogs – D’oagies  are white dough buns for hot dogs, and B’oagies  are white dough buns for burgers (these are seasonal, sold in the warmer months)



We bake and can deliver most of our products fresh daily within many areas of Whatcom County. For more remote locations, we can work with you to arrange product delivery days and how to integrate freezer/proofing systems. (Accounts must be established and in good standing, and meet minimum-order quantities to qualify for delivery)

Is your store outside of our delivery area? Do you come to town one or two days a week to pick up product from other vendors? Stop by our bakery and we’ll have your bread order ready. Our bakery is conveniently located in central Bellingham and close to the freeway.

UPC / Product Codes:
We are rolling out UPCs for all of our Wholesale products in 2013! We can work with you to coordinate your Point-of-Sale system to reference our new industry-standard product codes, which will work with all barcode scanners. (you can always use manual price entry as well)
