Avenue Bread proudly offers our premium bread for resale at the grocery level every day. We can work with your department manager and sales teams to pick products that will move well in your format, and our local daily delivery program ensures your customers are always receiving the fresh product. Avenue Bread offers attractive packaging and a strong brand, encouraging customer loyalty. Well established grocery stores carry our great bread like both Bellingham Fred Meyers, Haggen, The Co-Ops, The Safeway on Sunset and Whole Foods.

No loaf left behind. Unsold bread is donated to the local Food Banks.

We offer a variety of bread shapes and doughs. The products listed here are recommended for the Grocery market.


We bake and can deliver most of our products fresh daily within many areas of Whatcom County. For more remote locations, we can work with you to arrange product delivery days and how to integrate freezer/proofing systems. (Accounts must be established and in good standing, and meet minimum-order quantities to qualify for delivery)

Is your store outside of our delivery area? Do you come to town one or two days a week to pick up products from other vendors? Stop by our bakery and we’ll have your bread order ready. Our bakery is conveniently located in central Bellingham and close to the freeway.

UPC / Product Codes:
We have UPC and can work with you to coordinate your Point-of-Sale system to reference our new industry-standard product codes, which will work with all barcode scanners. (you can always use manual price entry as well)

Artisan Line

Artisan loaves are football-shaped and unsliced. These breads are baked fresh daily and bagged in our designed paper bags. Loaves can be individually wrapped in plastic for an extra 2 days on the shelf.

Rustic Wheat

Sea Salt Rosemary – Our most popular bread made with fresh rosemary and a superb crust

Avenue French – All-around bread with a consistent crumb and chewy texture

Downtown Sourdough – With an almost 20-year-old starter this bread brings complexity and sourdough tang

Rustic Wheat – A nice light wheat bread with a kiss of whole wheat

French Baguette – Just like you would find in France, this 24-inch bread is truly traditional

Avenue Craft:

Introducing our new line of bread made with Northwest micro-milled simply processed flours. These breads are different in that they start as a grain grown right down the road in Skagit Valley and are milled by folks we know.

The 3 Mills – A whole wheat sourdough French country bread

The Ploughman – A traditional old-world peasant bread perfect for a Ploughman’s Lunch

Rosemary’s Pillow – A larger sized ciabatta bread with fresh rosemary

Octo Grain English Muffins – Grain filled hearty English muffins

Wheat and Seed

Wheat and Seed – A hearty loaf with seeds through-out, and made with grains grown sustainably in Washington.

Rosemary– This popular bread is known for its fresh rosemary and for its perfect salty crust.
Sourdough – A tangy traditional sourdough, a perfect combination of chewy on the outside & soft and sour on the inside.

French Deli – A soft traditional white bread for every meal.

New York Rye – Made with Fairhaven Mill’s organic rye flour, ideal for sandwiches and great toasted and filled with caraway seeds

Oats in Wheat – A soft and delicious bread enhanced with whole wheat and oats, sweetened with a touch of honey.

English Muffins, Roll and Buns include:

English Muffins – This Avenue Bread favorite holds together our popular Eggenues, Rosemary English Muffins – with added fresh rosemary

Buns For Burgers and Dogs – D’oagies  are white dough buns for hot dogs, and B’oagies  are white dough buns for burgers (these are seasonal, sold in the warmer months)
